Bhumi was founded on August 15, 2006, by a group of friends, who believed that every underprivileged
child deserves quality education. Since then, Bhumi has transformed this conviction into a volunteering
opportunity for India’s youth, launching a snowball effect of nurturing talent on the path to an educated,
poverty-free India.

Bhumi Fellowship: A two-year program that places young graduates in government & government-aided schools to improve the quality of education in India by developing change-makers, conducive learning environment, and visionary school leaders.
HELO: Social Emotional Learning (SEL): Implemented for grades 1 to 5 to foster emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and well-being among children.
STEM Education: Promotes hands-on learning, creativity, and cognitive thinking, aiming for higher enrollment in science streams and fostering future innovators.
Bring Smiles Scholarship: Supports underprivileged students with financial assistance, ensuring continuity in education and reducing dropout rates.
Infrastructure Development: Focuses on improving government or low-income schools' facilities to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning experiences.
Eco Champs: Empower students to adopt eco-friendly habits and become environmental sustainability ambassadors through a series of planned sessions.
Remedial Education: Offers tuition classes in schools, focusing on bridging learning gaps and boosting student confidence.
Youth Skill Development: Bhumi's Skill-Ed program offers immersive IT courses and soft-skill training for underprivileged youth, bridging the gap between academic learning and employability.

Civic Volunteering: Bhumi promotes civic clubs in schools, and colleges to groom leaders and communities to foster hyperlocal action.
Corporate Volunteering: The program offers engaging volunteering activities for the Corporate Volunteers which include wall painting in schools, paper-bag making, creating teaching & learning materials for the visually challenged, and many more.
Think Green: Bhumi’s Climate action initiatives include seed ball making, beach clean-ups, tree plantations, and waste management activities to counter climate change effects.
